2010 Lake County Folk Festival
Lake County Folk Festival is a free two-day, family-friendly festival of traditional and original music featuring Celtic, bluegrass, gospel, jazz and more.
The Festival is held on the second weekend of October each year in businesses located in downtown Eustis and Ferran Park located on Lake Eustis. The 2010 Lake County Folk Festival is scheduled for Oct. 9-10. For more information, log on to www.lakecountyfolkfest.com.
Birds and Bicycles
On Saturday, Oct. 23, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. enjoy a natural adventure at Emeralda Marsh, one of the most beautiful preserves in all of Florida.
The event, hosted by the Trout Lake Nature Center and Lake County Parks & Trails, encourages participants to bicycle, walk or hop on a hayride on the 6 miles of levees throughout this natural land. Stationed birders, biologist, naturalist and working artists, will inform and inspire participants.
